5 reasons to buy beautiful happy flowers for yourself or someone else

 CONNECT HEART & HOME ///

1. Lasting love

Buy one day, and enjoy seven days of reminders that you are loved. Whether through self-love or friendship. And that's bound to put a smile on your face every time you glance over at your vase of pretty sunny flowers. That's what I call real bang for your buck, the gift that keeps giving for a whole week.

2. Colours to boost your day

Flowers have the most glorious and unique colours, Delicate yet vivid and powerful. A transformative boost to any space, whether in the bustling centre of your home or a peaceful corner on your desk or dressing table.

3. Scents to fill your home with perfume like no other

Whilst I love the scent of my favourite candles, incense and essential oils, nothing compares to the smell of fresh flowers. I love the burst of fragrance you get as you move about the house passing a vase full of fresh, bursting flowers.

4. Symbols of growth and evolution

Watch as your vase of pretty flowers changes over a week. From tight buds to erupting voluptuous blossoms and filling the vase with expressive, expansive movement as flower buds continue to grow and evolve in their last days.

5. Connection to nature

The details in flowers often leave me with a feeling of awe; next time you buy flowers look closely at all the intricate details and see them as you have never seen nature before. For me, this is often part of the painting process, so something I have spent a lot of time doing. But you can experience great joy from studying those glorious petals and intricate centres, whether you are painting on not.

When was the last time you bought yourself flowers? Do you do it often?
